School Council Pledge
I am honoured to have been elected as a school councillor and I am fully committed to carrying out this role with responsibility and integrity. I will consistently uphold the values of the school and encourage others to do the same. I will strive to be a positive role model within the school community and will wear my school council badge with pride.
School councillors are expected to:

Represent their year group at all school council meetings with dedication, professionalism, and full attendance.

Communicate effectively with their class by reporting back after year group and whole-school council meetings.

Respect and represent the views of their year group, even when these views differ from their own personal opinions.

Actively contribute to discussions and debates with fellow student representatives, recognising the importance of teamwork and collaboration.

Understand and fulfil their responsibility to participate in decision-making processes alongside school staff and governors.

Represent the students of Warwick Road Primary School appropriately at official events and public occasions.

Attend all scheduled school council meetings. If absence is unavoidable and justified, ensure that a suitable replacement from their year group is arranged.

Acknowledge that the effectiveness of the school council relies on the commitment, initiative, and cooperation of its representatives.
