Week 4 - Instruction Writing

This week, you will be writing instruction texts. You write instructions to help somebody to know how to do something. The instructions should be clear to read and understand so that the reader can follow them easily, without getting confused.

I have attached a range of resources to this page, to help you. The resources include:

- A PowerPoint that explains what an instruction text is and how to write an instruction text. This includes examples of writing and will help you with how to write your own instructions. It outlines the features you need to include in your instructions.

- An instruction text checklist, which acts as your success criteria.

This week's tasks:

Monday: Chocolate Crispy Cakes Recipe

Wednesday: Jelly Recipe

You can make it more fun by actually having a go at making these - send us your pictures on Skype!
