Week 1 - Comparing quantities

Hello everyone, this week you can support your children to compare quantities and numbers. We encourage the children to use the following language when comparing:

  • more
  • less
  • fewer
  • larger
  • bigger
  • smaller

This can be done with any objects in your home, especially when the children are playing.

For example, you could ask/comment:

  • "Mummy has more cars than you and you have fewer."
  • "I wonder who has the largest number of cupcakes?"

Please find some YouTube links below.
