Learning Focus: Mixed Fractions as decimals (Lesson 3)
- Mixed number fractions represent a whole number and a fraction
- When converting a mixed number fraction to a decimal it is the fraction which will cover the decimal places.
- It is easier to have the fraction over 100 or 10 and then convert it to a decimal
