Learning Focus: Mixed Fractions as decimals (Lesson 3)

Remember:

  • Mixed number fractions represent a whole number and a fraction
  • When converting a mixed number fraction to a decimal it is the fraction which will cover the decimal places.
  • It is easier to have the fraction over 100 or 10 and then convert it to a decimal
