Day 4 - Thursday 2nd July 2020
Learning Focus- Dividing by 100
1) Dividing by 100 means making a number a hundred times smaller.
2) When you divide by 100, move all the digits two places to the right.
Example: 2600 ÷ 100 = 26
1. Watch the video.
Watch this video to refresh your memory on dividing by 100.
2. Work through the Powerpoint attached below. Please note: The powerpoint has been converted into a PDF format as the file size was too large to upload. The Powerpoint includes a toolbox which is simply the new learning for today. Children should play the sideshow from the beginning and complete any examples in their workbook.
3. Complete the worksheet which can be found in your home learning pack. Answers will be provided shortly via Parent Hub App. 4. Challenge: As a bonus challenge, children can complete the WRM extension. The challenge is not in your home learning pack and should be completed in your workbook.
