We can't emphasise enough the importance of reading, during our enforced closure.

Pupils have taken their banded books as well as their library book home to make sure that their reading habit is well maintained.

In addition, the children will find that daily reading tasks have been set on Purple Mash.  There's a chapter to read from an online book, followed by a short series of questions about what's just been read. The children can then hand these tasks in electronically, where Mr Hughes, Miss Gokalia and Mrs Daji can see them - so we can keep a record of who's been doing the work and how well they've been doing.

Home-time reading: Last term we were reading David Walliams': Beast of Buckingham Palace. We did not get a chance to finish this, so I have attached a link to the audio book. I hope you enjoy it!
