Physical Development

We would like you to get some Physical Development  in every single day. You can complete this whenever you want to, and of course, you can do as much as you want! Below are some suggestions:

SCISSOR CONTROL BOOKLETA: You will have received a printed copy of the booklets in the packs. These booklets encourages the children to follow patterns  with their scissors and pencils to improve their fine motor skills.

HOME LEARNING PD CHALLENGE: We have created a home learning Physical Development challenge - how many can you complete in a week? See the attached document to start your challenges. Let us know how many you do. If you can think of any better activities let us know and we will keep updating the sheet.

PE WITH JOE: At 9am Monday-Friday, Joe Wicks will be doing a live 30 min fitness video. Click on the link and click on the live video - you will be doing the workout alongside him (I know that I will be). If you don't get time at 9 am to do the session you can click on any other of his workouts that interests you. WARNING: YOU WILL BE SWEATING!https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=PE+with+Joe

JUST DANCE: Children enjoy these videos on a daily basis. Choose your favourite moves and off you go. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Just+dance+

COSMIC YOGA: Some great videos that focus on balance,co-ordination and flexibility. Children can relax and unwind following simple (and some harder) balances. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=cosmic+yoga

OTI MABUSE: She is a professional dancer (from Strictly Come Dancing) and every day at 11.30 am she is doing a live dance routine on Facebook. If you would like to use this please ask your parents permission to use or to sign up to access these great routines. Oti will also be completing a beginner class at 7.30pm as well, this is aimed at the whole family.

SPORT ENGLAND: They have created an extensive list of companies that are providing some free workouts for you to do. https://www.sportengland.org/stayinworkout#get_active_at_home
