Santa visits EYFS

On Tuesday, 18th December, a very special visitor came to see us.

This visitor wore a bright red suit and arrived on his sleigh, which was being pulled by reindeer. Yes, that’s right…it was Santa! The Reception children had created a special chair in Santa’s grotto and left milk and cookies in anticipation for his visit. They were very excited when they heard the bells jingling from the outdoors.  Despite their excitement, they were very well behaved when he came around the corner with his huge sack full of presents. The children told him how hard they’ve worked so far this year and said they had all been nice.  Each child waited patiently for their turn to meet Santa and receive a gift. Thank you for coming, Santa - we hope you come again next year.
