A Christmas Carol

On Tuesday, 11th December, it was Christmas Eve in Victorian Leeds, but the cold-hearted Ebenezer Scrooge hadn't an ounce of festive cheer.

For this half-term's trip, children in Year 6 travelled to Leeds to watch a Leeds Playhouse production of 'A Christmas Carol'. Children had been studying the novella throughout the half-term and were clearly delighted to see it brought to life. Though it was two hours in length, children responded enthusiastically (and one or two were perhaps even frightened by some of the ghostly goings on).
