National Poetry Day 2018
On Thursday, 4th October, Warwick Road Primary School held an assembly in order to celebrate National Poetry Day.
Children from each year group stood in front of the entire school and read the poems that they had been preparing in class. Each year group was to focus on a different type of poetry so that the other children would learn about the range of types. Please find below a list of the poetry types covered and some samples of the work produced.
