World Maths Week 2017

During the week beginning Monday 13th March, Warwick Road School celebrated Maths week across school. Throughout the week, children were given the chance to take part in various mathematical activities and understood how maths is linked to everything. Some classes took their children out on a maths trail around school to identify percentages, shapes, and fractions, whereas other classes collected data during P.E sessions and presented them using bar charts. Children were also given the opportunity to focus on problem solving, reasoning and logic, which allowed them to develop their use of mathematical skills in a range of contexts.
