Visit to Dewsbury

On Tuesday 11th and Friday 14th October, we visited Dewsbury Library to learn more about our local town. When we visited the library, the librarians kindly provided us with books, records and old newspaper articles which we used to find out how Dewsbury town has developed over the years. After our fascinating trip to the library, we walked through the town and we were able to observe how the town has changed. On our way back to school we went into Lidl supermarket to buy ourselves a snack and a drink as we missed out on tuck shop. When paying for the items we needed to think about how much to give to the cashier and how much change we would get back.
