Year 3 Clife House Trip

For our Flow topic, we visited Cliffe House on Wednesday 30th November, where we walked along a river and identified some of the physical features we learned in class. We also had a go at doing pond dipping and exploring the different pond creatures that inhabited the area. It was so cold that some of us had to use the end of our nets to break the ice that had blanketed the pond. When we got back to the classroom, we used a classification key to find the names of the creatures we found.
